Dear Street Life Ministries Community,
Happy New Year! We hope this newsletter finds you well despite the chilly weather and occasional rain. As we embark on a new year, we are filled with gratitude for your unwavering support and generosity. Thank you for being a vital part of our mission to share God’s love and provide life-giving resources to those experiencing homelessness on the streets of the San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula.

2023 in Review: Overcoming Challenges and Celebrating Successes

As we reflect on the past year, we are humbled by the impact we’ve made together. Despite facing challenges such as a rise in homelessness, increasing drug and alcohol addiction amongst our folks, and reductions in government aid, we finished 2023 strong. Through your support, we provided hundreds of hot meals, warm clothing, and valuable resources, enabling individuals to take the first crucial steps out of homelessness.

On our new live streamed podcast, Street Life Live!, Pastor David had the honor of interviewing remarkable guests, including Redwood City’s former Chief of Police, Dan Mulholland, and musicians Jeanne Smith and Jerome Madigan. These conversations brought valuable insights and perspectives, enriching our understanding of the issues we face as a community.

Julia and Her Dance Students Bring Joy to Our Community

In December, we were delighted to witness a heartwarming performance by Julia and her dance students from the Academy of American Dance in Redwood City. Despite the cold weather, they graced our Redwood City meeting location with a beautiful outdoor dance routine. Their mission, centered on mutual respect and well-being, aligns perfectly with our values. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Julia and her talented students for spreading joy and warmth in our community.

Conclusion: A Year of Optimism and Hope

As we step into 2024, we want to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support. Your generosity has been a beacon of hope for those facing challenges on the streets. We are optimistic about the future and look forward to achieving great things together in the coming year.

Thank you for being an essential part of Street Life Ministries. May this year be filled with compassion, respect, innovation, commitment, and grace.

Blessings,
